A Telegram content bot, security proven first
Proving a bot only accepts genuine messages before it is built.
A working sample we built to show how we would solve a problem like this. It is not a delivered project.
In plain terms
A Telegram bot that routes content requests to the right place. Before building it in Make.com, this demo proves the hardest part first: only genuine messages from Telegram are accepted, and anything from strangers is rejected. The routing rules are tested too.
- Only messages carrying Telegram's secret code are accepted.
- Routing rules decide where each request goes.
- The rules are tested before any Make.com build.
What this does not claim: Make.com cannot be run on a local computer, so the rules were tested as ordinary code first. The real build would recreate them as Make steps.
Technical details
Webhook security uses Telegram's own mechanism: a secret_token set through setWebhook and echoed in the X-Telegram-Bot-Api-Secret-Token header. A command router and datastore simulation are tested in Python first; the real build re-expresses the logic as native Make modules and IML formulas.
- Python
- Telegram Bot API
- Make.com (planned)
