Privacy Policy

Information we collect

• Contact form: your name, email address, the service you're interested in, your message, and an optional file attachment.
• Payments: when you pay via our site, your payment is processed entirely by Razorpay. We never see or store your card, UPI, or bank details — we only receive confirmation that a payment succeeded, along with the amount and your email.
• Chat widget: messages you send to the chat widget are sent to an AI model provider (via OpenRouter) to generate a reply. If you type your email address into the chat, we also receive a copy of the conversation so we can follow up with you. We don't use chats for anything beyond answering your question and replying to you.
• Where you came from: if you arrive through a campaign link, your browser remembers which campaign and page brought you here (for up to 30 days) and includes it with any message you send us, so we know which outreach reached you. It contains no personal information beyond what you submit.
• Analytics: we use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, general location, device type, clicks and scrolling). Clarity records visits as replayable sessions and heatmaps; text you type into forms and the chat is masked and is not recorded. This uses cookies — see "Cookies" below.

How we use it

We use contact form and payment information to respond to your inquiry, deliver the service you've paid for, and send you confirmation/receipt emails. We do not sell your information to third parties, and we don't use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run this site, each of whom processes data only as needed to provide their service to us:

• Razorpay — payment processing
• Resend — sending transactional emails (confirmations, notifications)
• Zoho Mail — our business email inbox
• OpenRouter and its AI model providers — chat widget responses
• Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity — site analytics
• Upstash — secure database that stores a backup of enquiries and payment records, and rate-limiting counters
• Netlify — website hosting

Cookies

Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish visitors and measure site usage. Microsoft Clarity sets first-party cookies (such as _clck and _clsk) to recognise returning visitors and group the pages of one visit into a single session; see Microsoft's privacy statement. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, these analytics cookies are only set after you accept the cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time using "Cookie settings" in the footer. You can also opt out via your browser's cookie settings, or using Google's Analytics opt-out tool.

Your rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, request a correction, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@getblacklore.com.

If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and change the "last updated" date above.
